Finding Your Happy

You hear it almost everyday, "once you start living a life to make yourself happy instead of everyone else, then you'll truly be happy". It is a cliche saying that even I ignored the meaning to until recently.

There is a quote hanging in my room by Audrey Hepburn that says "work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don't strive to make your presence noticed, just to make your absence felt." This quote can either be one that you read and ignore or it can be one that you read and apply to your life. I have found that once you actually apply it, you will find changes in your life for the better that you never thought were possible. Rather than finding yourself being disappointing for the things you think your not doing right, you find yourself proud and accomplished for the things you were doing right the entire time. We have to learn how to live a life for God first and foremost, then focus on the things and people that come next. Happiness comes when we stop complaining about the troubles that we have and offer thanks for all the troubles that we do not have. So I challenge you to one simple thing--- BE HAPPY! Wake up and live life for the right reasons and do not ever take it for granted... Life is too beautiful to live for the wrong reasons.
